#pumpforpeace is an initiative of Velosolutions with the aim of building pump tracks in disadvantaged areas of the world, in order to develop these places through sport into a sustainable community for sport, health, tolerance and encounter.
In Roma, Lesotho, Velosolutions was able to build the first #pumpforpeace pump track in 2017. In March 2019 a short documentary film was made, which will celebrate its premiere at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Lenzerheide on August 9, 2019. Since 2017, the #pumpforpeace Pumptrack has developed into a community with a bike shop, a coffee shop, a cycling league and a monthly race on the pump track. What it looks like there today and how the place around the #pumpforpeace Pumptrack has developed, you can find out even after the Social Ride in the short documentary «#pumpforpeace in the Kingdom of Lesotho» - join us!
