Anniversary Edition X delivers – What a celebration in the Bike Kingdom

Swiss success highlights a strong sporting performance
From a Swiss perspective, there was plenty to celebrate. As early as Friday and Saturday, there were numerous podium finishes and top results, creating excitement. On Sunday, Swiss athletes particularly impressed in the women’s Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) race: Ronja Blöchlinger secured second place, which was her first ever XCO World Cup podium, marking a special highlight. Sina Frei narrowly missed the podium in fourth place, while Nicole Koller (seventh) and Ramona Forchini (ninth) rounded off a strong team performance.

In the U23 women’s category, Fiona Schibler, Anina Hutter and Monique Halter finished in the top six, once again highlighting the strength of the next generation of Swiss athletes.

However, the Anniversary Edition X was about more than just elite sporting performances. The celebrations continued beyond the racetracks. The new side events were met with great enthusiasm, with the Chopfab Team Race quickly becoming a crowd favourite and attracting large numbers of spectators who were almost as loud as those watching the downhill races.

On Saturday evening, the DJ Battle of Styles brought the W.O.W. Party Dome to life, creating a festival atmosphere that lasted late into the night. Creative street art installations added a unique anniversary flair to the venue. The artwork created during the event will decorate the Cabin Hit in future, serving as a lasting reminder of the tenth edition.

«The Anniversary Edition X was exactly what we had hoped for to mark our jubilee: world-class sport, emotion, celebration, sunshine and thousands of enthusiastic fans. It was a true celebration for the entire mountain bike community and a milestone in our history,» said OC President Christoph Müller.
