UCI Mountain Bike World Cup 2026

Ready for action, team spirit and plenty of fun? Then you definitely shouldn’t miss the Chopfab Team Race! In specially prepared Chopfab beer crate karts, you’ll be racing flat out around a varied circuit featuring chicanes, sharp turns and plenty of that racing thrill.

    How the race works

    The Chopfab Harassen race is run as a relay race. A team consists of two riders who hand over the bike to each other during the race. The clock continues to run and is only stopped when the second rider crosses the finish line.

    The race course
    The race starts at the start and finish area of the XCO/XCC race. The course follows an extended circuit featuring various chicanes and obstacles. Each lap completed is timed.

    Qualifying
    All teams complete one or two qualifying heats. The number of participants determines whether one or two qualifying heats are held. If there are two qualifying heats, the faster time counts. Only the 16 fastest teams or riders qualify for the final round.

    Finals
    The 16 fastest teams are divided into four quarter-finals, with the two fastest from each heat qualifying for the semi-finals. The two fastest from the semi-finals then go through to the grand final. In the grand final, the top four teams battle it out for victory and the podium places. The three fastest teams are honoured immediately after the race. There are great prizes waiting for you.

    3.30 pm – 4.15 pm Registration & Check-in
    4.00 pm  – 4.30 pm* Practice run (opportunity to test the track and the beer karts)
    4.30 pm – 5.20 pm Qualifying heats
    5.20 pm Announcement of the finalists
    5.30 pm – 6.15 pm Quarter-finals, semi-finals and final

    *The training run will start after the men’s DHI podium ceremony. Should there be any delays due to an accident or race hold-ups, the training run may be cancelled. In that case, the qualification round will take place immediately.

    Terms and Conditions

    • Minimum age: 16 years old
    • Minors require the consent of a parent or guardian
    • Participation is at your own risk
    • Wearing the prescribed protective equipment is mandatory
