Info & Media
Since its debut in 2015, Lenzerheide has become one of the most popular stops on the international mountain bike calendar. This anniversary will be marked by a very special edition: world-class racing in the disciplines Cross-Country Olympic (XCO), Short Track (XCC) and Downhill (DHI), thousands of passionate fans and countless W.O.W. Moments.
Party Dome, DJ Batlle and Street Art
The celebrations continue beyond the race tracks: On Friday evening, 19 June, Zurich-based band Hang ’em Higher will take the stage in the W.O.W. Party Dome at 9.00 pm, bringing their energetic mix of Americana, Irish Folk, Bluegrass and punk spirit.
Saturday features the Edition X DJ Battle: four DJs, four styles and 20 minutes of pure energy each. In the semi-finals, DJs face off head-to-head before the crowd decides who advances to the final by volume alone. The final showdown delivers booming beats, electrifying vibes and full power until the very last drop.
From Friday to Sunday, Street Art will also play a key role throughout the venue. An artwork celebrating the past ten years will be created right in front of the gondola entrance. Further creative touches will be added to the Bike Arena in the form of additional street art installations in and around the Party Dome.
«Lenzerheide has always been a very special place in my career. It brings together world-class sport, incredible fans and a unique atmosphere. Celebrating the Anniversary Edition X makes this weekend even more special. I’m really looking forward to it,» says Nino Schurter. In this spirit, Edition X is also dedicated to the next generation of top Swiss athletes.
